2023 Hangzhou Design Alumni Association Forum of Jiangnan University | Gather and Enjoy the Present, Design the Future with Wisdom

Join the present and design the future intelligently

On May 27, 2023, the Jiangnan University Hangzhou Design Alumni Association Forum was successfully held at the Feish Design Headquarters in Hangzhou. This event invited expert alumni from different fields to analyze the challenges and opportunities facing the design industry in the form of keynote speeches and roundtable group interactions on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, service experience, and entertainment consumption, focusing on future lifestyles.

Forum stage

The participants of this forum include Wang Weiqing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Design of Jiangnan University, Cao Ming, Secretary General of the Design Education Development Foundation, Zhang Shikang, Director of the Academic Committee of Hangzhou Tea Research Institute of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and Executive Dean of Zhejiang Tea College, Xu Zhengye, Founding President of Hangzhou Design Alumni Association and Chairman of Hangzhou Zhengye Bozhan Art Co., Ltd., Ye Huiyu, Executive Deputy Secretary General of Zhejiang Alumni Association, Yu Biao, President of Hangzhou Design Alumni Association and Chairman of Feish Design Group, and more than 50 alumni from Zhejiang Alumni Association and Hangzhou Design Alumni Association.

The forum is divided into three parts: keynote speech, new alumni welcome ceremony, and roundtable forum.

During the keynote speech session, Chairman Xu Zhengye, Dean Zhang Shikang, and Jin Le, head of Alibaba Product Design Incubation Center and senior expert, shared and thought with us on AI, cross-border application technology and practice of tea resources, and design empowering business under the trend of digital intelligence.

The new alumni came from NetEase and Longfor Properties. They expressed their gratitude to their alma mater and received a message from Chairman Xu Zhengye. Secretary-General Cao Ming reviewed the activities of the previous alumni associations and emphasized the importance of inheritance and joint planning and design for the future.

Mr. Yu Biao, President of the Alumni Association and Chairman of Feish Design, introduced the development and history of the Alumni Association, and discussed the development of intelligence and future challenges based on the theme of "Gathering in the Present, Designing the Future with Intelligence" and his personal experience. Gu Hongqing, Product Manager of NetEase Youdao Ledu, and Liu Dan, Founder and Teacher of Architectural Landscape Design Company, shared their experience in AI empowering the industry.

The roundtable meeting started in the afternoon, divided into three venues: scientific research institutions, Internet technology, and design and manufacturing. Yu Biao, president of the Hangzhou Design Alumni Association, Ding Jijun, professor of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and Zhang Chong, founder of Bar-headed Goose Intelligent Technology, served as hosts. They combined the hot topics of the industry and had in-depth discussions and talked about design.

Event Summary

With the support of alumni from all walks of life including the Zhejiang Alumni Association and the Hangzhou Design Alumni Association, the Jiangnan University Hangzhou Design Alumni Association Forum was successfully concluded.

Meeting Process

This alumni meeting was held at the Feish Design headquarters. In order to welcome this alumni forum, we arranged the venue early and prepared souvenirs. We look forward to the next Jiangnan University Hangzhou Design Alumni Forum, to discuss hot topics and analyze opportunities with everyone.
